Transcending addiction and redefining recovery: Jacki Hillios at TEDxBoulder

I joined TED’s Open Translation Project a few months ago. It’s a great experience. Even if there is something that is a little bit different from what I imagined, like I forgot there are many people involved and lots of things are out of my control, it is still a great experience. When you translate videos like TED talks or TEDx talks, you actually are given a chance to speak through these speakers, and you kind of speak for them in another language. That’s amazing. So, even though all my work is nowhere to be seen so far, I still feel grateful I can have such a wonderful experience.

Well I finished translating the English subtitles of this clip into Mandarin Chinese a few weeks ago.  Apparently, the topic is not quite likable so, I don’t know when it will be reviewed or approved.  But I really think Dr. Hilios has brought a very important message.  So I’d love to share the video here.  It’s all English, but it’s not so hard to understand with the English subtitles on.
